While we recommend being as safe as possible when making dining decisions, and we currently suggest dining outdoors on restaurant patios or continuing to bring carry-out orders home, we do hope for a time when full dine-in options at our favorite restaurants will be an undebatable choice. Governor Whitmer’s decision ideally will help the entertainment and hospitality industry throughout the state, and despite online casinos coming soon, the reopening plans will undoubtedly help some of the restaurants located at or near the casinos. However, soon casino patrons won’t need to visit the casino to play as legal Michigan online casinos will be up and running in no time. In Michigan, Governor Gretchen Whitmer recently announced plans to allow casinos to reopen in August at 15% capacity. Due to the ongoing pandemic, there is still uncertainty ahead but local governments in many states are trying to implement reopening plans in an attempt to return to normalcy and help salvage local industries.
